Our next Member Networking and Best Practice event will be hosted by West Dunbartonshire Council at their exciting Energy Centre at Queens Quay.
Join us on Tuesday 22 February, 10.00am-1.00pm for an opportunity to hear industry updates, share common challenges and solutions, and gain a better understanding of how fellow member companies are continuously improving their business. Our meeting will be held in West College Scotland, we will then break for a short walking tour of West Dunbartonshire Council’s high-tech District Heating Network, which is the first large-scale water source heat pump scheme of its kind in Scotland. The session will conclude with a short round table discussion, where a light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The Energy Centre is a ground-breaking project and features Scotland’s largest Water Source Heat Pump installation to date, taking water from the nearby River Clyde and using it to generate heat which is then distributed to customers through an underground district heating pipe network. The project and its development have been a key element in the transformation of the former John Brown’s Shipyard from an industrial landscape into a vibrant and diverse community, but it also sets out the Council’s commitment to transition towards a net zero future.
This session is limited in numbers and spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. To register to attend, please kindly complete our registration form.
