Women make up around 12% of the engineering sector in the UK. With a large skills gap looming and the need for a more diverse workforce, it has never been more important to inspire and encourage more people, especially women, to choose a career in engineering.

What better way to kick-start 2020, than by celebrating women in Engineering and STEM. Back by popular demand, our Women’s Networking Breakfast will return in January with a new set of fantastic guest speakers!

Please join us for our Women’s Networking Breakfast on the morning of Friday 24th January. This event is not exclusively for women – we enthusiastically welcome everyone to attend. We will be hosting our women’s networking events on a quarterly basis. Our aim is to raise the profile of women in engineering, celebrate their achievements and hopefully inspire the budding engineers of tomorrow. This event is an opportunity for us to draw attention to the careers available in engineering, for you to network with your peers from across industry and to enjoy the inspirational stories and experiences of our guest speakers.

This event has been our most popular yet and has seen us attract higher numbers than we normally expect. This being said, the event on Friday will have limited seating available – so you might want to wear comfy shoes!
