Scottish Engineering Mentoring Programme

Introduction Webinar

Last year we established the Scottish Engineering Mentoring Programme as part of our commitment to the development of a new generation of engineers and leaders in our industry. The scheme is open to all members companies at no cost, and interest and involvement has been strong.

Our mentors are recently retired engineers and industry leaders who bring a wealth of experience of professional engineering, management and leadership and have a passion for sharing that and giving something back to younger people building their careers in the sector. We are back up and running after a temporary break during lockdown and our mentors and mentees are meeting again, in line of course with H&S guidance. We are also delighted to announce that with a growing mentor team we have capacity to accept more mentees.

Sandra Mulligan of IMechE will be joined by one of our own mentors, David Arnold, to provide expert insight into how mentoring can nurture personal and professional growth for the individual, and support the achievement of business goals. There will also be time for questions and further details on how to get involved.
