“Employees’ Conduct Outside the Workplace”

Most employers are familiar with how to deal with misconduct matters within the workplace, e.g. lateness, insubordination, or theft. But what about alleged employee misconduct outside the workplace? This could be at a “work’s night out” or via a social media post. Dermot Cole from Scottish Engineering’s Legal & HR Team will give an insight into this potentially complex field, along with guidance on how to deal with such situations.
