POSTPONED – DATES TBC

Let your hard working Engineers and Leaders out of the office for the day to attend the “REME Challenge Day” in Grangemouth on Thursday 23rd April 2020.

It’s back! Due to the popularity of our previous Member Challenge Day, REME have kindly offered to run this exciting event again for our Members. Member company 153 Recovery Company is Scotland’s Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Army Reserve Company. Thanks to REME support, this one day event is free of charge and aimed at professionals from Engineering and Manufacturing companies. We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to one or two representatives from your company to attend.

The objectives of the day are to develop and hone participants’ team skills, leadership, decision making capability and their self-awareness in a competitive environment. The day includes team building exercises, command tasks and technical challenges which promise to be rewarding, educational and tonnes of fun! Participants will also gain an understanding of the role of both the Army and REME Reserves and learn about the transferable skills that Reservists can bring to their civilian employment. There will also be opportunities to network and build connections over lunch.

All that we’re asking from you is to offer up the best of the best from your team. Two willing volunteers, dressed in trainers and practical clothing. Gym wear, or similar will work, along with a set of waterproofs for bad weather conditions. Don’t forget to bring a sense of humour and a willingness to get involved – REME will provide everything else! There are 20 places available and we expect this event to fill up quickly – so don’t delay!
