MacTaggart Scott was founded by Hugh MacTaggart and Robert Scott in 1898.  It remains a privately-owned engineering company employing 380 people in Loanhead, Midlothian and celebrated its 125^th anniversary this year. Since its formation, MacTaggart Scott has supplied innovative engineering solutions for the marine market.
