An in-depth look at Capability Cases

Our second Legal Update of 2022 will explore many of the queries that our Legal & HR team receives related to the thorny issues of capability performance and ill health. Hosted by Legal & HR Support Manager, Lindsey Miller, this webinar will benefit those advising or making decisions around the delicate nature of capability issues. Whether it’s difficult performance conversations, managing and handling short/long term absences, or sometimes parting company with an employee, these can be tricky areas for employers. Lindsey will talk you through what may need to be considered in these situations and guide you through how to navigate the requirements of the Equality Act 2010. The session will also provide an update on any recent case law and forthcoming legislative developments.

There will be opportunities for quick questions between each section, with the session concluding with a short Q&A.
