Due to travel interruptions that will likely affect Glasgow next week, we are excited to announce that this event will now be hosted as a hybrid virtual and in-person event. Please specify when registering if you will be joining us in person or virtually.
Join us on Thursday 23 June, 0830-1000 as we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day. This session will focus on the value of mentoring for the retention and development of staff. Scottish Engineering’s Vice President, Bernie O’Neil and President, Aine Finlayson will be joined by our invited speakers to inform and inspire us all to reach improved diversity within our businesses. This session is your opportunity to hear first-hand how Mentoring is having a meaningful impact on real women in Engineering, with recent ScotEng Mentee Emma Cullen, Contracts Manager at Petroassist sharing her mentoring journey with us. We will also hear from Maureen Conlin, HR Manager at Petroassist, as she discusses the importance of mentoring when it comes to developing and retaining staff.
