Despite the movement away from Equality, Diversity and Inclusion programmes in the USA, UK legislation in the form of the Equality Act 2010 requires employers not to discriminate against, harass or victimise employees, job candidates or ex employees on the grounds of a protected characteristic. ED&I is also key to a successful and harmonious workplace, and can protect your organisation against potentially costly claims if implemented correctly. This session will look at various areas impacted by ED&I requirements, with a particular focus on the new duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.
