Scottish Engineering Leaders Award

The Scottish Engineering Leaders Award is a competition delivered by our education partner Primary Engineer. 13% of Scottish schools have registered for the competition so far and they need your help! Could you visit a school in Jan/Feb/Mar in your area to promote engineering by chatting to a class? Click here to search for a school and here to sign up and support. After interviewing their linked engineer, pupils are asked, ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’ They use engineering to solve a problem and each entry carries the name of the engineer who inspired the pupil to participate. The top 600 entries are put on display, including engineer and company name, at the Barony Hall in Glasgow the first weekend in June. Contact lise.mccaffery@primaryengineer.com for more information.
