Lifelong Learning Initiatives
The
future prosperity of the manufacturing engineering
industry is dependent on the quantity and quality
of young people who are attracted to a career
in the industry.
Scottish Engineering, as part of its
commitment to Lifelong Learning, is involved
in a range of engineering educational initiatives
aimed at enhancing the image of the industry
and developing existing employees.
Member organisations are actively encouraged to
participate in the initiatives.
Some are unique to
Scottish Engineering e.g.
Scottish Engineering
Connections
The Craft
Competition Award
Scottish
Engineering/Incorporation of Hammermen Award
and some are
undertaken in partnership with other organisations i.e. The Royal Academy of
Engineering
and The Engineering
Education Trust, Scotland e.g.
The Engineering
