MAJOR
ENVIRONMENTAL INDUSTRY INITIATIVE
LAUNCHED
A major industry initiative has been
launched jointly by Scottish Engineering
the support group for the industry in
Scotland and the Scottish Energy
Efficiency Office of the Scottish
Executive aimed at maximising profits
and improving the environment.
Called the Engineering Industry Toolkit
its main aims are to encourage energy
savings, to successfully manage waste,
to show the benefits of controlled water
usage and to offer advice on compliance
with environmental legislation.
