Continuing his Engineering Roadshow, Dr Peter Hughes recently visited Dalbeattie High School where he spoke to senior pupils from schools throughout the Dumfries and Galloway region.
He spoke of the diversity of the various sectors within engineering and kept the pupils enthralled by explaining how much engineering was required to produce a musical instrument as popular as the guitar.
Over the years Dr Hughes has addressed more than 60,000 secondary pupils throughout Scotland and hopes that his missionary work has produced a few converts to the engineering fold. |
