The event was attended by more than 20 members of the Executive Committee and a number of guests who were impressed by the commitment to our industry shown by the MP for Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk. In the relatively short time that he has held the post Mr Moore has already visited a number of engineering plants around the country.

The evening was hosted by Vice President James Walker OBE who thanked the Secretary of State for his time and for promising to look into a number of issues that were highlighted by the guests.
