The voice of manufacturing engineering in Scotland
Queen's Award for International Trade
An East Kilbride member of Scottish Engineering has received the Queen's Award for International Trade.

Cameron Macdonald, Managing Director of Controlled Therapeutics (Scotland) Ltd which develops and manufactures pharmaceutical products received the Award from the Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire Gilbert K Cox MBE, JP at a ceremony in August.

 

The company, which had previously been granted the Queen's Award for Innovation in 2003, exports 95 percent of its products to 30 countries worldwide.

 

Dr Peter Hughes, Chief Executive of Scottish Engineering said: "I am delighted that Controlled Therapeutics has been recognised in this way. It is a tribute to the amount of work and skill that the staff have contributed over the years."
