Members are given the opportunity to network and develop relationships with each other via a variety of Scottish Engineering networking events. We also partner with relevant and interested organisations both within and outwith the Engineering/Manufacturing sector to ensure members are kept abreast of any relevant information. Networking events include: Scottish Engineering District MeetingsScottish Engineering is the voice of engineering manufacturing in Scotland. We run a series of meetings around the country to feed information to companies and take note of their issues and concerns. This is also an opportunity for member companies to network with other member companies from their own local area.These district meetings are held 3 times a year in February, June and October. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. with tea and coffee available and finishes with lunch at about 13:00. The 7 areas where the district meetings are held are: Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Fife, Strathclyde West, Borders, Dundee, Aberdeen Scottish Engineering Annual Dinner The Scottish Engineering Annual Dinner takes place each year in Glasgow usually at the beginning of May.There are various awards which are presented during the dinner. The Scottish Engineering Award is made to the Scottish manufacturing organisation which, in the past year, has significantly contributed to the progress of the industry and enhanced its image at home and abroad. Scottish Engineering Executive Dinner This is an essential role in conducting business and senior executives of member companies are encouraged to develop relationships, exchange and share business experiences and to assist their business plans by participating in meetings, committees, working parties, working lunches and other events. |


The Scottish Engineering Annual Dinner takes place each year in Glasgow usually at the beginning of May.
