Commenting on the Weir Group figures for the first six months of 2011 Dr Peter Hughes, Chief Executive of Scottish Engineering said: "The exceptional results from the Weir Group
for the first half of 2011 reflect the figures that we published in the first two Quarterly Reviews for the year. Scottish Engineering welcomes the success of one of our largest and most prestigious engineering manufacturing companies which continues to operate its global business out of Scotland.
